Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of the La Presa Epoxy Floors website and any estimate, quote or work you request from us through it. By using the site or asking us for an estimate, you agree to these terms, so please read them before you reach out.

If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. You're still welcome to call us with questions first.

What we do

La Presa Epoxy Floors is a flooring contractor in La Presa, CA. We install epoxy, polyaspartic and metallic coatings, polish, stain, seal, grind and resurface concrete, and handle related floor work for homes and businesses in La Presa and the cities around it.

The service descriptions on our home page and elsewhere on this site are general information about the work. They don't promise a result for your floor, because every slab is different. What we'll do on your job is set out in your written estimate or agreement. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free and come with no obligation. We give them after we've seen your floor, because the condition of the concrete, moisture in the slab, cracks, old coatings and the system you choose all change the price and the prep work.

An estimate is based on what we can see before work starts. If grinding or removal turns up something hidden, such as deep damage, failing patches or a coating we didn't expect, we'll stop and talk with you before doing extra work, and any change in price will be agreed in writing first.

Prices or ranges mentioned on this website are general information, not an offer. Your written estimate or agreement controls the price for your job.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll set your start date when you accept the estimate. Weather, temperature and humidity affect how coatings cure, so we may move a date if conditions would put the finish at risk, and we'll let you know as early as we can.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area, clear it of vehicles and belongings unless we've agreed otherwise, and keep people, pets and traffic off the floor for the cure time we give you. Walking or parking on a floor too soon can damage it, and that damage isn't covered.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please tell us as soon as possible. Any deposit, cancellation terms or fees for materials already ordered will be spelled out in your written agreement, and nothing in these terms takes away cancellation rights California law gives you.

Payment

Payment amounts, any deposit, the schedule of payments and the ways you can pay are listed in your written agreement. Final payment is due when the work described there is complete unless the agreement says otherwise.

If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled, and we may use the remedies California law allows to collect what's owed.

Warranties and what they don't cover

We stand behind our work, and we want you satisfied with your floor. Any written warranty for your job, and how long it lasts, will be in your agreement. Product warranties come from the makers of the coatings and materials we use and follow their terms.

A warranty usually doesn't cover damage from moisture or problems already in the slab, new cracks or settling in the concrete, misuse, impacts, chemicals or hot tires the system wasn't chosen for, skipped cleaning or care instructions, or use before the floor has fully cured. Concrete and decorative finishes vary naturally, so small differences in color, texture and pattern from samples or photos are normal and aren't defects.

Apart from any written warranty in your agreement and any warranty California law requires, the website and its content are provided as they are, without other warranties of any kind.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and fully insured for the work we do. To the extent California law allows, La Presa Epoxy Floors isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses tied to your use of this website or to our work, such as lost income, lost use of a space or the cost of moving belongings.

Where we are responsible, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the work involved, unless California law says otherwise. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Settling a disagreement

If something isn't right, call us first at (619) 609-0422 or reach us through our Contact page. Most problems get sorted out quickly when we can come look at the floor together, so please give us a fair chance to see it and fix it.

If we can't work it out between us, either side may take the matter to small claims court or another court with proper authority in San Diego County, California.

Governing law

These terms, this website and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here applies from the day it's posted. The terms in place when you sign your agreement apply to that job.

Questions about these terms

If anything here is unclear, call us at (619) 609-0422, seven days a week from 8 AM to 9 PM, or send a message through our Contact page. We respond within 1 business day.
